Heavy rain leads to flooding in Pike County

Heavy rain moving through the mountains has led to some flooding in parts of Pike County.

Right now, the Belfry and Toler areas seem to be the hardest hit, with flooding also being reported in the Grapevine area.

As of noon, water was getting close to some homes and we are told water rescue teams are on the way to the area.

No word if any rescues are ongoing or if anyone is being evacuated.

We have a crew on the scene and will bring you the latest information as we get it.
