High school students sought for council posts

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky Education Commissioner Terry Holliday is looking for 11 high school students to provide feedback about issues affecting them and their schools.

The Next-Generation Student Council is a yearlong program for 10th- through 12-graders. The group will meet with Holliday and Department of Education staff to exchange information.

Applications have to be in by 4:30 p.m. EST Nov. 30. The form is available on the Department of Education website at http://bit.ly/sST4t6 .
