WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A historic business is damaged by fire in Whitley County.

The fire broke out around 1:30 Thursday afternoon at the old G & E Drive-In.

The fire chief in Williamsburg tells us it was a grease fire that took about an hour to get under control.

There were customers in the restaurant, but they made it out safely.

The restaurant is closed for now.
