LILY, Ky, (WKYT) – Still shaken up from the violence, a woman on Dogwood Lane is sharing her terrifying story.

“And they kept hitting me and wouldn’t let up,” said the victim of the home invasion who did not wish to be identified.

Hours after they returned from an out of state doctor’s appointment, the victim says two men attacked her in her back yard then beat both her and her boyfriend inside their home.

“And he said, ‘where they at?’ I said, ‘where’s what at?’ He said, ‘your medication and your money,” the victim said of the demands before she and the man were hit in the face and head.

Police have a limited description of the two men. One had a ski mask on. One was wearing face paint.

The victims questions if the thieves knew about their out of state trip to see and doctor.

“I think they were waiting for us. Actually, waiting out there to see if someone would come out the back door,” she said.

Police say the two men were armed with clubs and guns and used both of them in the beating.

“What is happening to this world? People that are sick, they go get their own medicine, You’ve got heathens out there who only want to get it to get high,” she said.

Police say the men got away with money, medicine and cell phones.
