While the worst of the weather held off this afternoon, it looks like we will still see some strong storms later tonight, generally between 8 p.m. and midnight. These storms will likely feature strong winds and hail, with heavy rain and an isolated tornado (mainly possible in the Cumberland Valley/I-75 corridor) being the secondary threats. Keep it locked here for the latest.
Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin has someone new at the top.
Larry Gray was introduced Thursday afternoon as president and CEO.
Previously, he worked in Lexington as a vice-president at Central Baptist Hospital.
Gray has been with Baptist Healthcare for almost thirty years.
He says there will be a new focus on expanding cardiac and women's services at the Corbin hospital.
“It's important that we understand that we have an entire Baptist system of Kentucky behind us. We will be able to draw from resources across the state,” Gray said.
Gray replaces John Henson, who recently stepped down after 18 years as hospital president.
