CORBIN, Ky. (WYMT) - State police say they have determined a house fire in Knox County this week was arson.
Police say the fire happened at a home on East Wyrick Street in Corbin on Monday afternoon.
No one was home at the time of the fire.
Police are now looking for a suspect.
"We do have a witness who saw a male subject walking from that residence a short time after the fire began," said Trooper Shane Jacobs.
Anyone who has any information on the fire or who caused it should call the Kentucky State Police Post in Harlan.
