Kentucky House Speaker Greg Stumbo visited a Floyd County School Tuesday.
Students at Stumbo Elementary School were eager share their thoughts and opinions on citizenship.
Stumbo says he was impressed by how much the kids already knew about the subject.
He said talking to kids is the fun part of his job.
“I get tired of dealing with people in Frankfort all the time, its nice to be able to come out here and hang out with people who have some sense,” Stumbo said.
Stumbo feels there are too many negatives associated with Kentucky's schools, but says visiting this school is always a positive experience.
