How well is Kentucky's early release program working?
Officials say 75 of the nearly one thousand prison inmates granted early release have been found in violation of their parole.
The Kentucky Enquirer reports that none have committed new felonies.
Most of the freed inmates are being sought because officials say they've violated terms of the early release.
952 prisoners were released January first and more than 200 more are expected to be let out of prison next month.
The releases come under the mandatory re-entry supervision program which the legislature passed to reduce the cost and population of the prisons.
