Human remains found in Carter County

GRAYSON, Ky. (WYMT) - Police in Carter County are investigating the discovery of human remains at Grayson Lake.

The remains were found Sunday night in a secluded are off Clifty Creek near the Carter-Elliot County line.

We are told hunters in the area stumbled across the remains. which were badly decomposed.

The state medical examiner is trying to identify the victim.
