I-75 southbound lanes in Tennessee will be closed again

Interstate 75 south near the Kentucky-Tennessee border will be closed again Sunday night.

Officials say the one southbound lane now open will be temporarily closed at 8pm Sunday so crews can prepare for a traffic shift that will allow both northbound lanes to open.

That's expected to happen by 8am Monday, weather permitting.

Southbound drivers will be diverted off the interstate Sunday night at exit 160 in Jellico.

Crews have been working to repair damage caused by a landslide in March.
