COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Former Ohio state Rep. Clayton Luckie is pleading guilty to grand theft and seven other felonies.
The Dayton Democrat agreed to a plea deal Tuesday that added the grand theft count and dropped 42 remaining felony charges against him.
Luckie was indicted in October. Prosecutors said he skimmed nearly $130,000 in campaign funds for personal use and failed to list campaign expenditures for six years.
Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien agreed to the deal and delivered it to visiting Judge Alan Travis.
Luckie announced he wouldn't seek re-election amid the investigation but declined to resign, serving out a fourth term that ended Dec. 31.
About a dozen family members and friends looked on in Franklin County Common Pleas Court as he agreed to terms of the deal.
