Indictment expected in murder case

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - An indictment could be returned in a Whitley County murder case next week.

Sheriff Colan Harrell says the grand jury heard the case of Samuel Plotnick.

Police say in December Plotnick allegedly hit Jimmy Dean Peace over the head with an ashtray and then beat him.

Peace died last week from his injuries at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
