Indictment handed down after deadly crash

A Martin County man is indicted after a deadly crash last year.

Sherman Doug Perry pleaded is accused of crossing the center line on Highway 2032 and crashing into a pick-up truck in November.

Fred Marcum died at the scene.

The Passenger, Robin Perry, was seriously hurt.

Perry was indicted on murder, assault, and DUI charges.

Police say he admitted to taking prescription pills and smoking marijuana before the accident.
