Statewide indoor smoking ban has been proposed

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Indoor smoking in public places would be
illegal everywhere in Kentucky under a law proposed by a state
legislator.

For the second time, Rep. Susan Westrom, a Lexington
Democrat, is sponsoring a statewide ban that would include fines
for individuals and businesses.

A similar measure did not pass last year.
