Injunction filed against Harlan County

The Harlan County Chaplain's Corps and a number of individuals have filed a temporary injunction against the county and Judge-Executive Joe Grieshop.

It centers around the county-owned building in Coldiron off Highway 119.

Months ago the judge's office sent the Chaplain Corps and eviction notice. The Fiscal Court announced last week a company plans to rent the building from the county and use it as office space.

Affidavits accuse county officials of tampering with items in the building that belong to the Chaplain Corps.

A special hearing will be held in Circuit Court Friday morning.
