A woman hit and pinned by a car at a Laurel County truck stop is now out of the hospital.

Tina Tyree was released from UK Hospital overnight.

She was working at the 49 Truck Stop in Laurel County Tuesday afternoon, when a car crashed into the store and hit her.

We're told Tyree was badly bruised, and will likely be sore for a while.

The truck stop had significant damage following the crash. However, it is open Wednesday, and repairs are underway.

"As far as operations are concerned, I think I'll have the computer equipment and phone lines in order by the end of this day, I hope," George Black of the Spur Oil Company said. "And as far as functionality, we'll be back open and selling fuel, in a normal way, by 5 or 6 this evening."

Kentucky State Police did investigate the accident.

Police say at this point, it appears the crash was caused by a child accidentally throwing the car into gear.

Police do not think any charges will be filed for the crash.
