PRESTONSBURG, Ky. (WYMT) - A Floyd County inmate is expected to plead guilty to trying to escape from jail.

Prosecutors say last month Travis Hall was trying to dig through the wall of a cell.

They say Hall and John Maynard had a metal piece off a mop and used it to dig a hole in the shower.

Both men were charged with criminal mischief and one count of second degree attempted escape.
