A Kentucky River Regional Jail inmate is facing more charges after officials say he hit a deputy.
The Hazard Herald says 27 year old Christopher Hale was arrested after a warrant was served.
When deputies were taking him to the jail, he allegedly started to fight with the deputies... hitting one of them in the head and causing head trauma requiring stitches.
He is now facing assaulting an officer, resisting arrest and menacing charges.
