WYMT Severe Weather Alert

We're tracking the possibility of more storms rolling through today, with some of them being strong to severe. The Storm Prediction Center has the entire area under a slight risk for severe weather through this evening. The main threats at this point look to be wind and hail. We will continue to monitor the situation and update you as needed.

Inmate pleads guilty to escape charges

A Perry County inmate has pleaded guilty to escape charges.

Court officials say Dusty Wise walked away from her assigned area during a work release program last year with the Kentucky River Regional Jail.

She appeared in Perry County Circuit Court Thursday.

A sentencing date has not yet been set.
