Interim school leader could be picked soon

HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) On Monday, the Perry County school board will have a special called meeting to discuss naming an interim superintendent.

The only items on the agenda include an executive session... after which the board will take action on hiring an interim superintendent if needed.

Just last week, current superintendent John Paul Amis announced his retirement, effective November 1st.
