Severe weather looks likely later this afternoon. The best chances appear to be between 3 p.m. and Midnight. Damaging winds, large hail, heavy rain, and an isolated tornado or two are possible. FAYETTE/SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - As drivers hit the roads for work this morning, the roads, in some spots hit back.
Tires spun, grasping for traction on an incline on Winburn Drive near Russell Cave Road early this morning.
Plows lowered their blades in town and on the interstate, in an attempt to finish what the salt started.
Even still, we encountered the occasional car off the road, sometimes turned around facing the wrong way.
Kentucky State Police reported they assisted with numerous accidents in Scott County Friday morning.
