Investigators working to identify woman's body found

Updated: Tue 2:55 PM, Aug 14, 2012

AFLEX, Ky. (WYMT) State Police say the body of a woman was found in the Aflex community Friday night and a man is charged with murder.

Investigators say the body was discovered outside a Pike County home and has been taken to Frankfort for an autopsy and positive identification.

A local said he saw Dillon consistently digging dirt in his yard and that's when they called police.

This is the same area where Sherry Dillon was last seen more than a month ago.

Jail records show her husband, Bruce Dillon, is now in the Pike County Jail charged with murder.

Neighbors said they are shocked by Dillon's recent actions.

"How could he act so normal? There's someone missing that everyone's looking for that's in your yard. How do you go about your life like that? It's devastating to me," said neighbor Crystal Price.
