A Pike County Jail escapee is back behind bars and so is his wife!
Officers say 26 year old Nacomah Harmon escaped last week while on work release.
He was caught at his home in Kimper.
His wife, Kaitlyn Charles Harmon is accused of driving the getaway car.
Corrections officers say Nacomah and Kaitlyn Harmon planned the escape and say their conversations making the escape plan is all on the jail's phone recordings.
Investigators say Pike County jail escapee Nacomah Harmon did not go very far. Police found him Tuesday night at his home in Kimper.
Police say last week, Harmon was on work release, hanging up Christmas lights outside the Pike County Courthouse when a car drove up, he got in, and drove away.
Corrections officers say his wife, 22 year old Kaitlyn Charles Harmon, had visited him earlier in the day.
When he escaped, they went straight to the jail recordings.
Pikeville Police found Kaitlyn Harmon at the Social Services office on Monday and arrested her.
The couple is charged with felony escape.
“Something like this, you have to take it serious when it happens. Obviously, when someone's on work release, you can't create an atmosphere where things like this are allowed,’ Assistant Pike County Attorney Tommy Chamberlin said.
Nacomah Harmon was serving time for receiving stolen property and was supposed to be released in February.
Now he faces up to five more years.
“To put it in layman's terms, he's in much more trouble than if he'd just served his time out,” Chamberlin said.
Bond for the couple is $10,000 a piece.
Both Nacomah and Kaitlyn Harmon are due in court for a preliminary hearing next Thursday.
