Jet Ski accident leaves one injured

A woman witnessed a scary moment near Laurel River Lake's spillway on Sunday.

The Times Tribune reports a woman called 911 after she said a man and his wife collided on two jet skis.

Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Officials say Christopher Smith turned off the engine to his jet ski but was unable to navigate out of the path of his wife Ashley Smith.

Mrs. Smith was treated at a nearby hospital for a minor injury, but suffered no broken bones.
