PAINTSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Students in Johnson County got the chance to learn about possible career choices Tuesday.
The program is called Operation Preparation and is geared toward eighth graders and sophomores in Johnson County.
This is the second year the county schools have participated.
Nearly 50 businesses set up at Johnson Central High School to explain to the students what they do.
"We hope our kids will learn about the variety of different careers that are offered out there in the future and maybe even how some of those careers may change in the future, especially technology wise," said Tom Salyer, Director of Pupil Personnel.
Schools across the commonwealth participate in Operation Preparation.
