HINDMAN, Ky. (WYMT) - A spending freeze is in effect in Knott County.
Judge Executive Randy Thompson signed the executive order.
Under the order, no purchases can be made on the counties behalf with the exception of food prepared and served by the senior citizens program or purchased for re-sale by the Sportsplex.
Also exempt are services and materials funded by grant receipts.
