Judge says miner should get his job back

A judge says a Letcher County coal miner should get his job back.

The order says Charles Scott Howard has a long history of bringing safety concerns to the attention of mining officials.

He showed a video of leaking mine seals at a public hearing in Lexington in 2007.

The order says soon after returning to work in May after an injury, he was fired.

The judge says Cumberland River Coal Company must reinstate Howard immediately.
