Posted: Fri 11:02 PM, Oct 22, 2010

A Letcher County jury convicts a former youth minister in western Kentucky of sex abuse.

The Messenger-Inquirer reports the jury recommended a one year sentence for 24-year old Jacob Conder, who's also a former deputy constable in Daviess County.

The abuse involved a 15-year old girl and occurred during a mission trip to Letcher County.

The newspaper reports Conder is scheduled for trial in Daviess Circuit Court in January on four similar charges.
