Slick roads will greet most folks as you head out the door this morning, so take your time on that commute. Most of the major rivers have started to drop, but there is still some flooding in some areas. Keep it locked to WYMT for updates.
Kentucky State Police were in Salyersville today with truckloads of donations for tornado victims.
KSP posts from all over Kentucky sent tons of donations to Salyersville. They collected food, water, hygienic items, and clothing.
Troopers are dividing the items to go to all the hard hit counties.
Police say they have been collecting items since the storms hit, and they are very happy with the response they have had.
"All the troopers within the posts, and staff, and state police employees across the state have went out and brought these donations in and brought these items in. They're trying to do their part to help the areas that were involved in this," said Trooper Shaun Little.
They expect more donations to arrive in the next few days.
