LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Michigan police have arrest a suspect in a series of highway shootings that terrified the state for weeks. Now WKYT has learned the man has Kentucky connections.

Police say they believe Raulie Casteel, 43, is responsible for taking shots at 24 cars along the interstate over the past few weeks. The Washington Post reports that Casteel lived in Taylorsville, Kentucky before recently returning to his home state of Michigan.

Police say they removed evidence from Casteel's home linking him to the shootings, and that his car matches the description provided by one of the shooting victims.

No one was killed in the shootings.
