Kentucky Supreme Court denies man a new trial

INEZ, Ky. (WYMT - In Martin County, the Kentucky Supreme Court has denied an eastern Kentucky man accused of murder a new trial.

30-year-old Jimmy Cornette Junior was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Patrick Blackburn.

Police say Blackburn was beaten to death back in 2002.

His body was then put in his car and pushed over a hill to make it appear as if he died in a crash.
