Kentucky artists displaying, selling during Derby event

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Artists from all around Kentucky will be in Frankfort on Saturday to exhibit handmade art and crafts during the Governor's Derby Celebration.

More than a dozen artists are expected and will offer items for sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT on the lawn of the Old State Capitol.

The event also features free concerts, children's activities and the Governor's Derby Exhibit. The art exhibit is on display in the Capitol Rotunda.

The events are free and open to the public.
