FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - The Kentucky State Police will add a new
tool to help solve crimes and analyze crash scenes.
The agency is holding a news conference Wednesday morning in
Frankfort to unveil and demonstrate a state-of-the-art 3D scanner.
The scanner provides a "true view" of crime scenes.
State police Commissioner Rodney Brewer and Sgt. Chad Mills will
be showing the equipment at KSP headquarters.
The agency says the equipment is a "cutting edge tool" to help
solve crimes and prosecute criminal cases.
