Kids get late Christmas surprise

While the holidays were several weeks ago, some Bell County kids got a late Christmas surprise.

A missionary group called Transformation Appalachia that works out of Faith Temple Church got to make sure dozens of kids got some Christmas presents after all.

The gifts were unloaded ....and dozens of kids in Pineville and Middlesboro got a nice surprise.

While Christmas was weeks ago... due to the harsh weather, the mission group had to keep pushing back when gifts could be delivered.
There is no better time than the present.

Leaders want to make sure every child got something special.

"Kids are the most important and giving to them... these are children that do not normally get... a lot of them live with family or friends because their parents are not in the picture," said Amiee Shook.

Leaders just hope the ministry can grow and they will get more donations so they can help more kids.
