An investigation is underway after officials say a man was stabbed to death by his estranged wife.
Kentucky State Police say 27-year-old Jonathon Sparkman was stabbed to death by his estranged wife, 25-year-old Kayla Sparkman.
Sparkman was arrested and is now charged with murder.
The Knott County coroner says it happened around midnight near a home on Perkins Madden Road just outside Hindman.
The coroner says the victim and his estranged wife got into an argument at the estranged wife's home.
Officials say it then moved to the road itself where the man was stabbed.
The victim's name has not been released, and no charges have been filed.
