Rounds of heavy rain will begin to move into the area later tonight, leading to the increased potential for flooding. A Flood Watch is in effect for the entire area from now through Thursday and a Winter Storm Warning goes into effect tomorrow. As we head into Wednesday, temperatures will drop and transition our rain to sleet and eventually to snow. Most of the area could see several inches of snow and sleet before it's all said and done. A Knox County man is accused of throwing tacks onto Highway 223, flattening peoples tires.
Deputies say Jim Mills of Flatlick admitted to doing it.
He was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
