Knox County woman arrested on bootlegging charges

A Knox County woman is behind bars accused of bootlegging alcohol out of her home.

Thursday night, deputies raided the home of 53 year Jeannie Merida in Flatlick.

Police say she was selling beer out of her house, which is located in a dry territory.

At the home, officers found more than 370 cans of beer and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Merida is facing several charges.
