FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky may have just made it easier for businesses to find places to start, relocate or grow their operations.
The Cabinet for Economic Development and the Commonwealth Office of Technology joined forces to create a Geographic Information System intended to give the state an advantage job creation. With the click of a mouse, entrepreneurs can get immediate access to information on industrial sites, vacant buildings and labor pools.
Economic Development Secretary Larry Hayes said the intention is to make it easier for businesses to get the information they need to find just the right locations within Kentucky to meet their needs.
