Manhunt for ex-cop accused of killing 3

LOS ANGELES (AP) - "We don't know what he's going to do." That's what a spokeswoman in California with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department is saying about Christopher Dorner, who's suspected of killing a police officer, the daughter of a retired Los Angeles police captain and her fiancé.

Authorities say Dorner, who was kicked off the LAPD police force several years ago, wrote a manifesto that directs his anger toward the department and to those he felt wronged him.

The shooting happened early Thursday morning in the Los Angeles suburb of Corona. The wounded officer is in surgery. A third officer suffered a graze wound.

Former Los Angeles police officer Christopher Jordan Dorner is also the suspect in the weekend killing of a couple found shot to death.

Police say Dorner implicated himself in the killings in a "manifesto" that included threats against several people, including members of the LAPD.

Los Angeles police say two Newton station officers on security duty were also involved in a shooting overnight, but they weren't hurt.
