Laptop leads police to burglary suspects

Updated: Fri 7:40 PM, Aug 24, 2012

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Police say a couple of burglars picked a target that ultimately helped police catch them.

Deputies say the burglars kicked in the back door, and once inside stole several things, including a shot gun, a play station game system, other electronics, and a MacBook laptop.

The computer had a tracking device inside of it, directing deputies to a motel parking lot off I-75 in London.

Inside of an old Chevy van is where they found 21-year-old Seth Harville.

They also found 21-year-old Mariah Beach inside with a newborn baby. Deputies say they found drugs in the van along with the stolen property. Both Harville and Beach are now facing several charges.

"I mean were at the burglary and within forty five minutes, we have the suspects about five or six miles away with the stolen property. Good turn around," said Laurel County Sheriff Deputy Gilbert Acciardo.

All of the things that were taken from this burglary victim have now been returned.
