LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt is eyeing downtown Louisville's restaurant and entertainment district for an adult retail store.

Flynt Management Group told The Courier-Journal (http://cjky.it/OYZgJf) on Friday that it is considering Louisville as a site. The company, which operates a chain of stores called Hollywood Hustler, has a store in Lexington.

Flynt lives in California but is a Magoffin County native. He has fought several well-publicized First Amendment legal battles.

Louisville real estate agent Fernando Trevino told the newspaper he took Flynt and a Cincinnati agent to view available property in the 4th Street Live area, where there is a concentration of restaurants and bars.

Alan DeLisle, executive director of the Louisville Downtown Development Corp., said Flynt's store is not the kind of business the group is looking for to further build up the area.
