It's the day before the night before Christmas, and shoppers are still piling into the Middlesboro Mall!
Last minute shoppers say waiting until one day or two before Christmas is something they have always done.
Some just grabbed stocking stuffers.
"I'm just kind of looking around. I have some stocking stuffers to get. Most of my big presents I've already gotten but just a few little things," said Missy Stagnolia, who lives in LaFollette, TN.
But others carried shopping bags full of last minute Christmas gifts.
"I try to start early, but it never happens. It's always last minute," said Joan Bruner, who lives in Harrogate, TN.
"I'm a last minute kind of guy. That's when the biggest bargains are!" said Kenneth Clark, who lives in Harrogate, TN.
Those sales are one of the excuses people give as to why they wait so late to shop.
"If you wait until the last minute, you can get stuff a little cheaper than right after Thanksgiving I think," said Stagnolia.
No matter how crazy the crowd and rush of shopping late can get, these shoppers still look forward to this time of year.
"I love this time of year. There's nothing like Christmas!" said Pam Miracle, who lives in Bell County.
With just two days left until Christmas, these shoppers are moving quickly to finish putting presents underneath their Christmas trees.
If you still have some Christmas shopping to do, the Middlesboro Mall will be open until 10 tonight but only until six tomorrow night on Christmas Eve.
