Laurel Co. gas station robbed twice in three days

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT) - For the second time in three days a southern Kentucky gas station is robbed and the sheriff's office thinks the same man is behind both crimes.

The latest robbery at the BP station on KY 770 in Laurel County near the I-75 exit happened Monday night. The sheriff's office says a man armed with a gun got away with cash.

The suspect matches the same description from a similar robbery at the BP station Friday night.

The same clerk was on duty during both robberies. The clerk told deputies he believes the same person committed both robberies.

The suspect is described as: a white male, age 40-50, gray beard, and 200 to 210 pounds .
