A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Sunday evening for most of Eastern Kentucky. Another round of heavy rain is likely early on Sunday and could lead to new high water problems. Remember if you come across a flooded road way to "Turn Around, Don't Drown!"
The Laurel County Extension Office will be temporarily closed due to water damage.
Employees say heavy rains over the weekend caused extensive damage to the office. It is expected to be closed until next Monday.
All classes, workshops and meetings for the week have been canceled.
The Kentucky Agricultural Council Public Forum will still be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. but the location has been changed to Shiloh Roadhouse in London.
