Laurel County man faces murder charges

LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) - The case of one Laurel County man accused of murder is headed to circuit court.

Sean Messer has been indicted by a grand jury.

Police say he stabbed his girlfriend, Pamela Bobbitt, to death last month in front of her children.

Police say Bobbitt and Messer got into an argument before the stabbing took place.

Messer has pleaded not guilty.
