LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A southern Kentucky school district is cancelling classes but it's not due to weather.
According to the district's website, Laurel County Schools will be closed Friday due to illness.
It's a problem many districts in the area are facing.
Whitley County and Corbin Independent closed earlier this week for the same reason.
