A Laurel County man remains in the hospital days after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle.

The Laurel County Sheriff's Office says Terry Jervis was riding on Hawk Creek Road Saturday when a car hit him coming around a curve.

Officials say the driver crossed the center line before hitting Jervis.

He was flown to the UK Medical Center, where he is in fair condition.

He is being treated for a broken arm and leg.

Police say at this time the driver of the car is not facing any charges.
