Many areas are still dealing with flooding, even as snow and sleet start to replace the rain. Some of the local major rivers are above flood stage and still rising. The good news is, many of the others have crested and will start to fall. The snow and sleet will continue through much of the day, before wrapping up tonight. A Laurel County man remains in the hospital days after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Office says Terry Jervis was riding on Hawk Creek Road Saturday when a car hit him coming around a curve.
Officials say the driver crossed the center line before hitting Jervis.
He was flown to the UK Medical Center, where he is in fair condition.
He is being treated for a broken arm and leg.
Police say at this time the driver of the car is not facing any charges.
