FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - The Kentucky Department of Libraries and Archives wants to raise awareness about electronic public records and is providing information through several avenues on Wednesday, the agency's first Electronic Records Day.
A presentation on the agency's electronic records archives will be held at noon in the department's Activity Room. Electronic records archivist Mark Myers will talk about the agency's electronic records collections and demonstrate ways to search the archives.
There will also be information on the department's website to assist agencies in managing records. The site is at http://kdla.ky.gov/records/recmgmtguidance/Pages/elecrecmgmt.aspx .
