In light of the tragedy in Colorado, some cinemas in Southeastern Kentucky are beefing up security.
Mike Hensley, the manager of Regency Cinema 8 in London, said: "Some safety precautions would be when you sell the last ticket and close the box office you lock the entrance doors. You check people's tickets when they're walking around the lobby and walking around the back hall. Making sure that everybody in the theater is supposed to be in the theater."
Large crowds are expected at theaters across the country for the newest Batman movie's opening weekend.
