A Perry County business that's been open for 65 years is closing.
Mongiardo's Liquor Store in Bulan has a lot of history.
It used to be a grocery store before Vincent Mongiardo bought it in 1945 and turned it into one of the first liquor stores in the county.
He says he is sad to see the store close, but he is giving the property to the Jake's Branch Volunteer Fire Department.
Mongiardo says the Fire Department will be able to use the money from the rental property to support itself instead of having to set up road blocks.
